About the Role
Would you like to be part of an exciting journey by joining a newly opened and growing school, based at our brand-new site with outstanding facilities off Thorpeville, to start at the beginning of the new academic year?
Northampton School (part of The NSB Trust) is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic member of staff to support the school’s Art & Design Department and lead the small team of technicians. It is desirable, but not essential, that the successful applicant will have a passion for Food Technology, but be able to support across both Resistant Materials and Art, if needed. The successful applicant will be an integral member of the team, working closely with teachers, enabling them to deliver a first-class education and ensuring that they have all the necessary materials and equipment for students’ lessons as well as providing administrative support to the team.
Although no previous experience is necessary, it is a requirement of the post that the successful candidate undertakes specialist training, provided by the school, to ensure they can competently operate DT machinery.
We will also require the successful applicant to undertake specialist training in Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene.
