At the heart of our promise to all prospective candidates is a calm and purposeful place to work, that values high levels of staff wellbeing and high quality professional learning. If you want to demonstrate excellent standards of teaching and learning, with a passionate and collaborative team around you, we want to hear from you. Nexus is located in Putrajaya - one of the larger suburbs in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Established in 2008 as part of the Taylor’s Education Group, we currently enrol 750 students from Early Years to Year 13 who learn through the IPC, IGCSE and IBDP curricula. The student population is made up of over 30 different nationalities giving our school a truly global character. The Academic English Pathway (AEP) is an intensive, immersive academic English programme designed for non-native English speakers entering Years 7–8. This year-long programme equips students with the English language proficiency, academic skills and subject knowledge required to transition successfully into mainstream classes. The curriculum is developed by the AEP Curriculum Committee and aligned with AISM’s academic frameworks. We are looking for a dynamic, student-centred educator who is passionate about teaching Language and Literature and Humanities to English language learners. You will deliver curriculum content through a content-based language instruction approach, simultaneously building students’ academic English proficiency within these subject areas. You will also teach targeted English acquisition skills (Grammar, Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) as part of the broader AEP team. You are collaborative, adaptable and committed to the intensive nature of the program. You understand that language acquisition is the responsibility of every teacher, and you bring creative, inquiry-driven methods to make content accessible
