Ardingly College is seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Laboratory Technician to join our successful Science Department from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting outstanding teaching and learning within an award-winning independent day and boarding school. Working closely with teaching staff across the Science disciplines, you will help prepare practical lessons, maintain laboratory resources and ensure laboratories operate safely and effectively.
To be successful, you will have:
Experience in science technical support or a strong interest in practical science.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths and Science.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to use your own initiative.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
A flexible, positive and team-oriented approach.
Experience working in a school environment, knowledge of laboratory health and safety procedures, and A Levels in a Science subject would be advantageous.
