KS1 Primary Teacher

Dallington School Madrid requieres Primary teachers for KS1 Dallington is a British family school in the centre of Madrid, that is growing significantly and needs to incorporate new teachers in KS1 for next academic year, starting the 25th August 2026. Our teachers must have QTS or PGCE from a UK provider, be native level English speakers, have at least 3 years´ experience as a Primary teacher. The candidates considered first will be those who are actually in Spain or have the legal requirements to come to work in Spain after Brexit (the EU certificate as a British national, the new TIE for British citizens or EU nationality). The contract will be permanent and full time from the start date (25th August 2026). The gross salary will be between 27.000€-32.000€ (according to experience) per year. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 1.QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE from UK University in Primary. 2.SKILLS AND ABILITIES To be an inspirational and motivated professional; Team player; Positive attitude; To be highly effective and creative; To have excellent communication skills; To have a deep knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn and of different learning approaches; To be familiar with the use of technology in the classroom; To have knowledge of the Primary British curriculum; Willingness to be involved in extra-curricular activities or supports for EAL students; Willingness to be committed to continous professional development. 3. EXPERIENCE: at least 3 years experience teaching in the British system in Primary. 4. LEGAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER BREXIT: The only candidates that will be considered at first phase are those who are resident in Spain or who have a European passport.
