About this role
Wellington College International Bangkok welcomes applications from experienced and outstanding Year 1 to 6 Class Teachers.
Our teachers are central to the life and success of our Junior School. While they are committed to delivering the highest‑quality teaching and learning, their role goes far beyond this. At the heart of what they do is a deep and unwavering commitment to ensuring that every single child is known, valued, and supported as an individual.
Our teachers thoughtfully design and adapt learning experiences to meet the unique needs, strengths, and interests of each child. In doing so, they enable students to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally within a nurturing and inclusive environment. This highly personalised approach - where no child is overlooked and every learner truly matters - is the magic of who we are as a school and what sets our community apart.
Experience of working in excellent British schools - in the UK or internationally - is essential, as are UK teaching qualifications. However, qualifications and experience alone are not enough. We seek teachers and leaders with an unquenchable desire to make things better. Deep knowledge, strong skills, and secure understanding are expectations, but so too is a mindset of continual improvement: a willingness to reflect, to challenge the status quo, to redefine what is possible, and to grow.
If you simply like the idea of doing what you have always done – or what everyone else always does – but with nicer weather and great beaches nearby, this is the wrong school for you. Yes, the weather and beaches are great; but we are here to do things better, to work harder (yes – not just smarter), to be more committed, to get better outcomes, to give more attention, than we have ever done.
