IT Technician

Claremont is seeking an IT technician to join our school. The IT technician will provide high-quality technical support to pupils, staff, and parents. Working within a busy IT department supporting up to 1,500 users, the role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, managing pupil laptops from Year 3 upwards, and ensuring the effective use of digital technologies that support teaching and learning. The successful candidate will have experience working as an IT technician or in a first/second line support role, ideally within the education sector. They will be an effective communicator able to work both independently and as part of a team in a structured, process-driven environment. As part of the collaborative IT team, the IT technician will deliver outstanding customer service, contribute to the smooth operation of IT systems and classroom technologies, and support school-wide IT projects.
