Job Description Provide an inclusive and engaging learning environment underpinned by evidence-based best practice. Using transdisciplinary and conceptual approach, deliver a curriculum that is challenging, relevant and significant, based on English National Curriculum. Demonstrate ability to teach design and technology along with coding for primary learners, integrated with the inquiry units. Establish and maintain authentic, respectful and positive relationships with students, families and colleagues where social, cultural and religious diversity is valued. Differentiate the curriculum to cater for a diverse range of learning needs. Attend and contribute to meetings as required. Work collaboratively to create and review Individual Education Plans as required. Maintain planning documents identifying specific learning objectives, differentiated tasks and assessments. Monitor and document student progress. Utilise technology, to enhance student learning outcomes. Organise and maintain a tidy, well-organised classroom and encourage students to take pride in their learning environment. Be responsible for all aspects of classroom management, including supporting the academic, social and emotional needs of all students in a positive and pro-active manner. Engage in professional dialogue and work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing expertise and respecting confidentiality. Be an advocate for student wellbeing, supporting a culture of safeguarding and child protection , and reinforcing the school-wide commitment to keeping students safe. Reflect upon own professional practice to ensure an understanding of contemporary research and best practice. Participate in Professional Learning and appraisal procedures for the purpose of personal, professional and career development.
