Outwood Academy Newbold is rated Good with Outstanding leadership by Ofsted, and we are based in the large, friendly Derbyshire town of Chesterfield, near Derby and Sheffield. We believe our success speaks for itself as we are above the national average for the number of students achieving at a Grade 5 or above in English & Maths GCSEs. We are also proud to have been awarded Gold Status by the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health Award. Our knowledge-rich curriculum has something for everyone, with extra guidance for those requiring additional support, and we do whatever it takes to help young people develop a sense of responsibility.
