St Martin’s School and Nursery is seeking a passionate Inclusion Lead (1 day a week) to champion the needs of all learners and join our caring, child-centred community.

As Inclusion Lead, you will play a vital role in shaping inclusive practice, working closely with pupils, families, staff, and external professionals to ensure that all children – including those with SEND – reach their full potential.

The post holder must hold the National Professional Qualification for SENDCOs (or the previous NASENCO qualification), or be willing to work towards this.
In this role, you will:
Oversee and develop the provision for children with SEND across the school and nursery
Identify, assess, and monitor pupil needs, creating and reviewing high-quality support plans
Work closely with teachers to ensure classroom practice is inclusive and ambitious
Coordinate EHCP applications and liaise with external agencies
Contribute to staff training and development in areas related to SEND and inclusion
Be a visible advocate for every child’s right to succeed
