Job PurposeUCSI International School, Kuala Lumpur is seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary ICT Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality ICT lessons following the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop digital literacy, computational thinking, problem-solving, and practical ICT skills while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & LearningPlan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE ICT curriculum. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Integrate educational technology effectively to enhance student learning. Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE ICT examinations through effective teaching strategies and regular assessments. Encourage responsible and ethical use of digital technologies. Assessment & Student ProgressDesign and administer formative and summative assessments. Monitor, assess, and report on students' academic progress. Maintain accurate assessment records and provide timely feedback to students and parents. Analyze assessment data to improve teaching practices and student outcomes. Classroom ManagementEstablish clear expectations for student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment. Promote student wellbeing, engagement, and respect within the classroom. Ensure students adhere to school policies regarding technology usage and online safety. Curriculum DevelopmentContribute to curriculum planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop engaging learning resources and practical ICT activities.
