We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IB MYP IT Teacher & EdTech Administrator to join our vibrant faculty in August 2026.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic educator who embraces the IB philosophy and is committed to inspiring students through conceptual understanding, problem-solving, coding, digital literacy, and responsible use of technology.
As an IT Teacher, you will:
Teach coding and digital skills as part of the IB Middle Years Programme, in collaboration with Teachease / Finnish Coding School.
Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons that develop computational thinking and problem-solving skills.
Teach programming with a strong focus on Python.
Guide students in applying coding skills to real-world and interdisciplinary contexts.
Foster creativity, logical thinking, innovation, and responsible use of technology.
Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure high-quality programme delivery.
Integrate modern tools and innovative teaching approaches to enhance learning experiences.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages experimentation and innovation.
Assess student progress and provide constructive, individualized feedback.
Contribute to school initiatives and interdisciplinary projects.
EdTech Administration ResponsibilitiesDepending on the candidate’s background and experience, the role may also include responsibilities related to educational technology and digital learning development, such as:
Administering and supporting key digital learning platforms, including Toddle, MAP, and other school systems.
Supporting teachers and staff in the effective use of educational technology.
Providing guidance and basic support for IT-related and digital learning needs.
Supporting the systematic integration of AI tools into teaching, learning, and school operations.
Helping develop guidelines and good practices for the responsible and meaningful use of AI in education.
