We are seeking a passionate and dedicated IB MYP G6 Primary Homeroom (Math & Science) Teacher to join our primary/elementary school team, commencing August 2026. Candidates with experience teaching in a dual language immersion program are preferred. Interested candidates must hold a passport from a country in which English is an official language and possess a current and active teacher registration/license authorizing them to teach in public schools in their home country or elsewhere. Position: IB MYP G6 Primary Homeroom (Math & Science) Teacher Location: Taiwan Education Stage: Elementary/Primary School Curriculum: IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) Subject Area: Primary/Elementary/Childhood Education, Mathematics, Science Position Type: Full-time Teacher Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in Math and Science to Grade 6 students within the IB MYP framework. As a homeroom teacher, you will also support the social-emotional development of your students while fostering a positive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and global awareness. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field is required. - Minimum of 1 year teaching experience, preferably with exposure to the IB MYP curriculum or similar inquiry-based programs. - Strong knowledge of the IB Middle Years Programme philosophy and practices is preferred. - Ability to design engaging lesson plans and assessments that foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students. - Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with students
