We are looking for a motivated and skilled Humanities Teacher to join our Secondary team, covering Year 7 to 13. Position Details Role: Humanities Teacher (History, Geography, and Global Perspectives) Department: Secondary - Humanities Stage: Secondary (Year 7 - 13) Curriculum: British (UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, and A-Level) Contract: Fixed Term Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, Humanities, or a closely related field (QTS or equivalent preferred) Teaching Qualification At least one year of teaching experience in a secondary setting Confident knowledge of the UK curriculum for secondary Humanities (Key Stage 3, GCSE/IGCSE, and A-Level experience is an advantage) Experience teaching across a range of secondary year groups and managing split-subject allocations Strong classroom management and the ability to support students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, including EAL learners Proficient in using digital tools to support learning, including Google Classroom and Google Meet Values and Attitudes Genuinely passionate about the Humanities, critical thinking, and student achievement Committed to high expectations and continuous improvement Collaborative and willing to contribute to department and whole-school priorities, including cross-curricular initiatives Reflective practitioner who engages positively with professional development and quality assurance processes Respectful of and responsive to the needs of an international, multicultural school community How to Apply If you meet the above criteria and are ready to contribute to the success of our students at Wales International School, we encourage you to apply.
