Orange Tree School is seeking a passionate, creative, and committed Humanities Teacher with experience of, or a strong interest in, working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, supporting students to achieve excellent academic and personal outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a dedicated Humanities Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has the right to work and teach in the UK
Has experience teaching Humanities/Geography at secondary level and a proven ability to raise student attainment
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and can adapt teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs, including SEN
Uses effective behaviour management strategies and is committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Is organised, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development
Is patient, resilient, and passionate about helping every young person achieve their potential
