About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team, specialising in supporting pupils with ASC and other associated needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating an inclusive learning environment, adapting curriculum content, and implementing individualized strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Purpose of the Role:
To deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Humanities (e.g. History, Geography, PSHE and Citizenship), lead the development of the Humanities curriculum (including PSHE and Citizenship) across the school, and act as a form tutor, supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of a tutor group. The role involves working with students with Special Educational Needs, including high-functioning autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across Humanities, including PSHE and Citizenship, across Key Stages
Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners, including students with SEN
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing regular feedback
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in line with school policy
