Chelmsford Learning Partnership is looking for a motivated HR Assistant to support our thriving schools’ network.
Why This Role?
This isn’t just admin — it’s the beating heart of our HR function. You’ll play a key role in supporting staff across multiple schools, helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment to exit
Managing HR records, contracts, and compliance checks (DBS, right to work, references)
Being the first point of contact for staff HR queries
Keeping data accurate across systems, including the Single Central Register
Coordinating recruitment processes, onboarding, and probation tracking
Supporting appraisals, reporting, and HR projects
What We’re Looking For
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
A confident communicator who enjoys working with people
Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office essential)
Experience in HR or administration (education sector a bonus)
A team player who values confidentiality and professionalism
