Relevant experience may include robotics, design technology, engineering, artificial intelligence, computer science, digital fabrication, or related applied technology fields. Experience designing future-focused, authentic learning experiences that connect students with real-world and industry contexts is also highly valued, particularly within our Applied Learning program. The teaching assignment will be determined based on the candidate’s skills and the needs of the program; flexibility to teach in both Middle and High School is preferred. Other preferred attributes include experience using design thinking to support inquiry and authentic application of learning, as well as the ability to create engaging, hands-on, project-based learning experiences. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration, integrate inclusive practices, and contribute to a positive, student-centered culture and climate. In order to meet Concordia schoolwide learning outcomes (SLOs) and grade level expectations, the teacher carries out the following broad and specific responsibilities across the following domains: Planning and Preparation, Classroom Management, Instruction, and Professional Responsibilities.
