Bloxham School is seeking to appoint an exceptional, caring and inspirational Housemaster to lead Egerton, one of our thriving boarding houses. As the figurehead of the House, the successful candidate will provide outstanding pastoral leadership while overseeing the academic, personal and social development of every student in their care. Working closely with tutors, matrons, parents and the wider school community, the Housemaster will foster a culture of kindness, respect, responsibility and aspiration, ensuring that Egerton continues to provide an exceptional boarding experience. Salary: Bloxham salary scale Accommodation provided as part of the role. Working Arrangements: Full Time Term Time Bloxham School is a thriving school with a warm and friendly staff community. Our school day starts at 8.30am and finishes at 6pm Monday to Friday. Academic lessons end at 3.30pm after which our staff contribute to broader curricular activities, academic drop-ins and pastoral meetings. Saturday lessons are from 8.30am -12.00pm. The pastoral service we offer at Bloxham School matters hugely to us and therefore as a Housemaster you will be expected to take a share of overnight supervision during the week and weekends and contribute to the weekend duty rota.
