Household Assistant

Join the Housekeeping Team at Worth School Worth School is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Household Assistant to join our dedicated Housekeeping team. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will play an important role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation that help create a safe and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors. This is a varied and hands-on role involving the cleaning and upkeep of school facilities, including classrooms, boarding houses, washrooms, communal areas, and kitchens. Duties include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising touchpoints, replenishing supplies, and ensuring allocated areas are maintained to an exceptional standard. We are looking for someone who: Has previous cleaning experience. Takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Works well as part of a team. Has a positive, flexible, and conscientious approach. Understands the importance of health and safety and safeguarding responsibilities. Previous experience within an independent school, hotel, or commercial cleaning environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
