Homeroom Teacher

The Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across the core curriculum within the Elementary phase, and may be assigned to any Elementary grade level based on the needs of the school. In addition to providing engaging and effective instruction, the teacher will take responsibility for the overall academic, social, and emotional development of their assigned class. They will build positive relationships with students and families, closely monitor and support student progress, and contribute actively to the wider school community.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Master
• Teaching Experience: 2+ years
• Licenses & Certifications: Teaching Credential/License
• Additional School Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent). Postgraduate certificate/diploma in Education, or a Master’s in Education. Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in primary/elementary education. Proven ability to teach core subjects at the primary level. Familiarity with inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instruction. Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Participate in professional development and complete 75% of CPD hours within three months of issuance, fulfilling remaining hours within the year.
