About this role
The post offered is Hockey Coach at the Senior School. To lead groups of boys and girls for hockey training in games and lessons, and at after-school enrichment. The position will be term-time only and will be on Monday-Friday from 2-5 pm.
The successful applicant will be passionate about hockey and ideally possess a hockey coach and first aid qualification (training for suitable applicants may be provided). Be flexible and able to commit to working weekends and after-school hours.
Duties include coaching weekdays after school between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm and Saturday mornings (8-11 am). The appointed person will work under the guidance of the Director of Sport & Development

Responsibilities
To take a lead coaching role with designated age groups at training and competitions.
To fulfil the requirements as directed by the Director of Sport & Development (technical, tactical, physical and psychological)
Duties
To work hours agreed upon appointment
Uphold the safety requirements of the Hockey program.
Display the utmost duty of care to all pupils.
Ensure that the training programme is adhered to.
Keep all training and attendance records up to date on the school system.
Communication and liaison with the Director of Sport & Development and other coaches.
Support pupils to balance their academic and sporting activities.
Communication and liaison with parents.
