Queenswood School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our team! As a HLTA, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task and follow the school's policies and procedures.

The School is set across two sites in a beautiful rural location in Herefordshire. We are an Independent Specialist day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 11 to 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum.

What you'll be doing:
Supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher
Ensuring that students complete the work set by their teacher
Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy
Providing support and assistance to students as needed
Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
About you:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
A commitment to the educational development of students
