Your Role We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to lead on Physical Literacy across the school, supporting pupils to develop motivation, confidence, and competence in movement. This role focuses on fostering a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity, rather than just skill acquisition. The successful candidate will develop an active and physical curriculum that provides positive, varied and inclusive activities for all. The physical literacy programme will incorporate pupil interests and utilise sporting and recreational facilities on and offsite, nurturing engagement in activities such as swimming, climbing and fitness at local gym provisions. An important aspect of this role will be supporting pupils to achieve recognised outcomes, including delivering AQA Awards and enabling pupils to gain sport- and fitness-specific accreditations.
