You will be supporting the Assistant Head – Pastoral in providing a holistic approach to the welfare of pupils and their families and to facilitate and encourage parent and carer engagement in the school. All of our education is through play based learning that will always be guided by and built around each individual and their strengths, challenges, and interests, combining elements of different approaches and frameworks as appropriate. Key Responsibilities Take responsibility for safeguarding, pupil welfare, attendance and family engagement, ensuring all practice aligns with school policies and statutory requirements. Build positive relationships with pupils, families and external agencies to support wellbeing, engagement and educational progress. Provide advice, guidance and practical support to families, helping to overcome barriers to learning and promote positive outcomes for children.
