Higher Level Teaching Assistant £16.35 to £17.35 per hour Actual Salary: £23,672 to £26,801 NJC Point 18-23 32.5 Hours plus 2 INSET days, Term Time Only At Athersley North Primary School, we believe that all pupils deserve the best education available. We are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who can deliver lessons across the primary range (Nursery to Year 6) to support PPA cover, cover when teachers are absent from school and provide release time for teachers and leaders. The role may also include working with groups of children within the class and interventions outside the classroom. The right person will have the drive and ambition to support our children across the school to ensure they get the very best opportunities and provision whilst inspiring a love for learning. We are looking for a candidate who: Has a HLTA qualification (Level 4 or equivalent) Is able to deliver learning activities to whole classes in Early Years, Key Stage 1 and 2 Has a proven track record of delivering high quality interventions Is committed to raising standards and meeting the needs of individual children Is committed to diversity and inclusion Is positive, enthusiastic and a team-player Is self-motivated, resilient, flexible and able to use own initiative Applicants must hold English and mathematics qualifications, at least GCSE Grade C or equivalent Visits are actively encouraged, please come and see our fantastic school to find out how you can have an impact on our pupils and community.
