We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to manage the day-to-day running of the MAP Room and to work closely with pupils, families, and colleagues across the school to give every pupil who uses the room the best possible chance of a positive outcome.
The post holder will take the lead in running the MAP Room, working under the direction of the Assistant SENCO and the wider SEND and Inclusion team. The role has three core strands:
The post holder will support the work of qualified teachers and, under an agreed system of supervision, will have responsibility for agreed learning activities, including monitoring, recording and reporting on pupil progress. He/she will operate with a high level of delegated authority under an agreed system of supervision, and will be an integral part of the wider SEND and Inclusion team.
Interview Date: Tuesday 22nd September, interviews will be a full day process.
