Higher Level Teaching Assistant Location: Smallfield, Surrey Actual annual salary: £28,838 - £31,465 dependant on qualifications Plus £2000 Welcome bonus For HLTA with SEN Experience* Hourly rate:£16.14 - £17.61 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Start time 8.15am - Finish time Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 4.45pm. Tuesday 5pm and Friday 4pm Aurora Redehall School, Smallfield, Surrey Part of the Aurora Group Aurora Redehall School supports pupils aged 6–11 with communication difficulties linked to Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. We’re seeking a passionate HLTA to join our speech, language and communication needs class, helping deliver a broad, creative curriculum and supporting pupils to reach their full potential. Deliver and adapt learning activities. Support individual pupil plans and contribute to reviews. Duties will vary and you will be expected to contribute to the overall aims of the school when required. Skills and Qualifications What We’re Looking For: Experience supporting children with speech, language and communication needs. Experience of working with primary aged pupils.
