Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Telford School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. As a HLTA, you’ll support pupils’ learning and wellbeing, lead engaging sessions, and help bring the enrichment and vocational curriculum to life while being a positive role model every day. Delivering small group and one-to-one sessions that inspire confidence, and spark curiosity and engagement with the enrichment and vocational curriculum, including activities in PE and Design & Technology (D&T). Adapting activities to suit different learning styles, making sure every pupil feels supported and included. Building strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage confidence and motivation. Being a positive, supportive and approachable role model. What you'll bring: Experience working with secondary school-aged children and young people, particularly those with SEMH needs, bringing patience, empathy, and positivity to every interaction.
