High School Science Teacher

We are currently seeking a dedicated High School Science Teacher to join our science department. This position involves teaching science following a Canadian (Manitoba) curriculum at the secondary school level. Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Science 10 and senior Chemistry or Physics aligned with a Canadian curriculum. - Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. - Assess student progress regularly through various formative and summative assessments. - Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and respect for literature. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and contribute to departmental goals. - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field (minimum requirement). - At least 2 years of teaching experience at the high school level. - Strong knowledge of Canadian secondary school science curricula. - Excellent communication skills in English – both written and verbal. - Ability to create dynamic lesson plans that engage students across different proficiency levels. - Proficiency in using educational technology tools for instruction.
