About EdStart EdStart Specialist Education is a growing provider of SEN and Alternative Provision, with schools across Greater Manchester and the Wirral. We support young people with a wide range of needs, including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and the impact of childhood trauma. Our schools are intentionally small, relational, and personalised, allowing us to focus on long-term outcomes and meaningful progress rather than simply attendance or examination results. The Role We are seeking to appoint an experienced, values-led Headteacher to lead our Bolton provisions. This is a multi-site leadership role, with the successful candidate based at our Manchester Road provision while providing strategic oversight across all three Bolton schools. This is a senior leadership role with significant scope to shape the culture, direction, and outcomes of the schools. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, providing both strategic leadership and visible, hands-on support across the provisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall quality of education, upholding professional standards across the staff team, and creating and maintaining an inspirational environment consistent with high-quality specialist education.
