We are seeking to appoint a Headteacher to lead on the development of our newest school, to drive forward the team, implement our vision and promote high expectations and ambition for all. There are future growth plans and opportunities within this role to oversee the development of multiple sites in the local area. The person appointed will bring a perspective based on experience and previous success. We are looking for a highly skilled, reflective leader to undertake the exciting challenge of establishing the ethos and embedding the philosophy of our third new educational provision within the Smoothstone Care and Education group. You will be able to demonstrate an innovative, creative and therapeutic approach to school leadership and management. Previous proven experience of successful senior leadership within the SEND sector, across primary and secondary provision, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech and Communication difficulties with an in-depth understanding of a diverse range of complex learning and sensory needs of our pupils is essential. Initially, alongside a select team the successful candidate will take on a range of responsibilities relating to the post. The scope and remit will include small group teaching, as well as overseeing the development of the school whilst fostering professional relationships with key referring local authorities.
