Delaney School is an exciting new specialist primary school for pupils aged 4–11 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated complexities.
As we prepare to open our doors, we are seeking an exceptional founding Headteacher to lead the creation of a school where every child is empowered to belong, achieve and flourish. This is a rare opportunity to shape a school from its inception, establishing its culture, curriculum, staff team and community while making a lasting difference to the lives of children and families.

As Headteacher, you will:
Establish the vision, ethos and strategic direction of the school.
Build and develop a highly skilled and committed staff team.
Lead the development of an ambitious and inclusive curriculum.
Champion high-quality SEND and SEMH provision.
Create a culture where safeguarding, wellbeing and achievement are at the heart of everything we do.
Build strong partnerships with families, local authorities and external agencies.
Drive continuous improvement and ensure excellent outcomes for
