Situated in an exceptionally beautiful location on Kew Green, adjacent to the Royal Botanic Gardens and backing onto the River Thames, Kew Green Preparatory School is a vibrant and nurturing co-educational school for pupils aged 4–11.
Kew Green is part of the Gardener Schools Group, alongside Ravenscourt Park Preparatory School, Kew House School and Maida Vale School. The Group also includes Kew Green Nursery, which provides education and care for children aged 2–4.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Head of Spanish to join our specialist teaching team. This is a 0.6 FTE position, normally worked across three days each week. We have flexibility on the days of the week for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of Spanish from Reception to Year 6, establishing a coherent and ambitious pathway through which pupils develop secure knowledge, confident communication skills and a genuine appreciation of the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.
This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent classroom practitioner and subject specialist to shape the future of Spanish at Kew Green. They will combine strong subject knowledge with creativity, warmth and an understanding of how younger children learn languages. They will be equally committed to supporting beginners, challenging fluent or highly proficient speakers and ensuring that Spanish is a visible and valued part of the wider life of the school.
Applicants should have Qualified Teacher Status, a high level of proficiency in Spanish and a successful record of teaching languages. Experience of primary or preparatory education and of
