As our Head of PSHE, you will play a pivotal role in re‑engaging pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, delivering high‑quality work while leading the strategic development of PSHE across the school. This is a unique opportunity to shape a core subject area, inspire learners, and contribute to a highly rewarding and purpose‑driven educational community. Key Responsibilities Lead, plan and develop the PSHE curriculum to meet statutory guidance and support personal development, safeguarding and preparation for adulthood. Ensure a balanced, engaging curriculum that promotes achievement, progression and positive participation. Organise and support teaching staff to deliver high‑quality PSHE provision and uphold strong professional standards. Drive continuous improvement through clear objectives, annual planning and quality assurance. Support strategic development of the PSHE department, including curriculum design, timetabling and pupil support. Work with the SENCo to ensure effective systems for tracking progress and meeting regulatory requirements. About You Essential UK QTS or equivalent Ability to plan and deliver learning that meets statutory PSHE requirements and engages diverse learners.
