SBS is seeking a dynamic, experienced, professional Physical Education Head of PE and Sports Department/teacher and Sports Coach to join our international teaching team. Successful applicants will be suitably qualified and experienced, as well as being fully committed to supporting the development of students through curricular and extracurricular activities. Essential Responsibilities (included, but not limited to): Conduct day-to-day supervision and management of the school department operations. Assist the School Principal in curriculum management, collaborative planning and academic-related issues, discipline of both subordinates and students through the IB PYP curriculum and the Cambridge curriculum. Ensure all timetables are monitored efficiently and on schedule. Plan and manage sports teams, competitions and tournaments outside school hours. Responsible for specific subject coverage/assignment, grading, examination paper, student record and report administration. Supervise, ensure and evaluate subordinates on lesson planning and management, timetable, classroom management, implementation of unified curriculum, instruction and other related activities. Ensure that full support for school activities is observed and practised. Cooperate with the other departments and report to the authorities concerned in all areas of academic functions, responsibilities and assignments and students ‘academic/social affairs and basic counselling as pertinent to the department's scope of work.
