We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Maths to lead our Mathematics Department at the high/secondary school level. Position: Head of Maths Location: Changzhou, China Department: Mathematics Education Stage: High/Secondary School Curriculum: United Kingdom (UK) Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the Mathematics Department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning. - Develop and implement effective mathematics curricula aligned with UK educational standards. - Support and mentor teaching staff to promote professional development. - Monitor student progress and use data-driven approaches to improve outcomes. - Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or related field (minimum requirement). - At least 10 years of relevant teaching experience in secondary/high school mathematics. - Proven leadership experience within an academic setting preferred. - Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for mathematics education. - Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to inspire students and staff through innovative teaching practices.
