Job Title: Head of Maths (Secondary)
Location: Glebedale School, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 3AY
Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday – Friday | Monday 8am - 4pm & Tuesday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: September 2026

As Head of Maths, you will lead the strategic development and delivery of Mathematics across the school, ensuring pupils receive a high-quality, engaging and inclusive education that builds confidence, resilience and achievement.
You'll combine outstanding classroom practice with curriculum leadership, working closely with senior leaders and colleagues to raise standards, develop innovative approaches and create meaningful learning experiences for every pupil.

Delivering inspiring Maths lessons that motivate and challenge learners
Driving achievement, progress and positive outcomes across all key stages
Supporting and developing colleagues to ensure consistently high-quality Maths provision
Using assessment data to identify strengths, gaps and intervention opportunities
