Head of Maths

Al Rabeeh Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Mathematics to join our dynamic, high-performing team from August 2026. As Head of Mathematics in an international British curriculum school, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, including GCSE and A Level Mathematics. You will lead, manage and develop a team of Mathematics teachers, setting clear expectations, providing coaching and professional development, and ensuring consistently high standards of teaching, learning and student outcomes across the department. You will oversee curriculum planning, assessment, data analysis and departmental improvement planning, fostering a collaborative, accountable and high-performing team culture. You will promote a strong numeracy and problem-solving ethos across the school, encouraging analytical thinking, mathematical reasoning and cross-curricular collaboration, while ensuring a well-structured, engaging and challenging learning environment that supports innovation and academic excellence.
