Head of Maths

Oxford International College is seeking to appoint a Head of Mathematics to start in September 2026. A later start date may be negotiable for the right candidate. The Head of Mathematics is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing Mathematics Department that delivers outstanding A-level and IGCSE results typically receiving 90% plus A*/A A-Level results. While the post holder will have the support of a Deputy Head of Mathematics, they will retain ultimate responsibility for setting the vision, priorities, and standards within the department. The Head of Mathematics will define the scope of the Deputy’s role and delegate responsibilities appropriately to ensure effective delivery of departmental objectives. This role requires exceptional subject expertise, strong pedagogical leadership, and the ability to inspire both students and staff within a culturally diverse, academically driven environment.
