As part of our continued growth, we pleased to invite applications to join our Mathematics team in our Senior School as an Head of Mathematics who is also an expectational classroom teacher to lead our developing Mathematics department from September 2026.

About the Role
We are looking for an inspirational and strategic leader who will:
Provide vision, direction and oversight of the Mathematics Department
Drive the continued development of an innovative, engaging, and academically rigorous Mathematics curriculum
Support and mentor colleagues, modelling excellent practice and leading by example
Lead departmental planning, assessment, tracking and interventions
Ensure consistently high standards of teaching and learning across Years 7–11
Contribute to whole‑school leadership through collaborative, proactive engagement
Alongside leadership responsibilities, the successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to teach Mathematics from Years 7–11, delivering inspiring lessons that challenge, support and motivate students of all abilities.
You will be confident in sourcing and designing stimulating resources, keen to promote a love of learning, and committed to equipping students with a secure foundation for GCSE success. You will also play a key role in expanding our growing programme of clubs, competitions and enrichment activities.
