About this role
Northampton High School is seeking an ambitious and creative Head of Marketing and Admissions to lead the school’s marketing, communications and admissions activity at an exciting point in its development.
This is a key leadership role, with the opportunity to shape how the school is seen, understood and experienced by prospective families, current parents, alumnae and the wider Northampton community. Working closely with the Head of School and the Director of Marketing (Cluster), you will bring the school’s vision, values and distinctive offer to life through compelling campaigns, clear messaging and a seamless admissions journey. With a focus on retaining and growing student numbers across all year groups, you will lead activity that generates enquiries, nurtures relationships, increases conversion and ensures families experience the warmth, ambition and excellence of Northampton High School from their very first interaction.
This is a varied and influential role, combining strategic planning with hands-on delivery. You will oversee the school’s brand proposition, website, digital and social media presence, advertising, PR, events and admissions communications, ensuring all activity is engaging, consistent and commercially effective. You will use insight, market research and CRM data to understand audiences, track performance and continually improve the way the school attracts and supports prospective families.
You will also play an important role in strengthening relationships beyond admissions, helping to build connections with alumnae, feeder schools, local stakeholders and the wider GDST network.
