Head of Management Information Services (MIS) and Funding

We have an exciting opportunity to join Brockenhurst College as Head of Management Information Services (MIS) and Funding. This is a significant leadership role responsible for leading and developing the College’s MIS function, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and effective use of student data. You will create, maintain and continuously improve systems and processes that meet both internal and external reporting requirements, while ensuring timely, compliant funding returns. You will provide expert advice, support and guidance on college systems, student data and funding, helping maximise funding generation, support growth opportunities and ensure full compliance with funders and regulators. The role is central to driving smarter processes, strengthening service levels and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. Using high-quality data and insight, you will support curriculum performance, enhance decision-making and contribute to improved learner outcomes. Your work will directly enable the College’s strategic ambitions — supporting outstanding digital and physical learning environments and helping deliver a high-quality, careers-focused curriculum with consistently exceptional teaching and learning. We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking data professional with a strong understanding of MIS, student records and funding compliance. You will be detail-driven yet strategic, with the confidence to lead and the initiative to innovate. A genuine passion for using data to inform decisions, strengthen curriculum outcomes and enhance the learner experience is essential.
