About this role
The College is looking to appoint a Head of Finance to be responsible for the accurate and timely production of the College’s financial information, provide an efficient and effective accountancy service to all areas of the College, and provide overall leadership, management and development of the Finance team, including direct line management of the Finance Manager.
The postholder will review, challenge and approve monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts and annual budgets, produce papers for governor committees, lead on the control of the College’s finances and assets and maintain budgetary control. You will provide advice and guidance to budget holders, prepare and issue monthly budget statements, and be responsible for the production of the annual college budget. Maintaining awareness of financial developments and financial protocols with the DfE and other funding bodies is integral to the role.
