This is a key middle leadership role, leading a team of several staff and ensuring consistently high standards of teaching, learning, and outcomes across English Language, English Literature, and EAL. The role leads the delivery and development of the cambridge curriculum up to IGCSE and A Level, ensuring students are challenged, supported, and inspired to achieve their full potential in both. Alongside this, the Head of EAL ensures that provision for learners of English as an Additional Language is structured, inclusive, and effective in removing barriers to learning. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership and direction for English and EAL provision across the school.
