Job Description:
As the Head of Drama, you will be responsible for leading and developing the drama curriculum at Key Stage 3 & 4. You will inspire students to explore their creativity through performance and theatre studies while managing departmental resources and supporting colleagues within the performing arts team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong passion for drama and performing arts
- Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire secondary school students
- Good organisational skills with an ability to manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills for working with students, staff, and parents
- Willingness to develop leadership skills as head of department
- Basic understanding or willingness to learn about Key Stage 4 drama curriculum requirements
- Relevant qualifications in drama or performing arts are desirable but not essential
