Head of Data Strategy & Insights

We are looking to appoint a Head of Data Strategy & Insights to lead the next stage of BHASVIC’s data and digital transformation. This is a newly created upper management role at the very heart of how the college understands itself and makes decisions. Working closely with the Vice Principal for Digital & Communications, you will own the college’s data architecture, governance framework and business intelligence capability – turning data into clear, trustworthy insights that support students, curriculum teams and college leadership. You’re a natural problem solver who enjoys untangling messy, real-world data and turning it into something clear and useful. You think strategically – you can see how data architecture, a governance framework and a college’s priorities fit together – but you’re just as happy rolling up your sleeves and building it: writing the SQL, shaping the pipelines, and designing the dashboards. You’re curious about what data can reveal and energised by the idea of building a capability from the ground up rather than inheriting a finished product.
