Key Responsibilities Develop and implement an ambitious and carefully sequenced curriculum across all Key Stages. Lead and manage the department, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment. Monitor and analyse student performance data to identify underachievement and implement effective interventions. Provide coaching and professional development for teachers, enhancing their practice and supporting their career progression. Oversee the effective deployment of staff and resources, including budget management. Act as a role model for outstanding teaching and leadership, inspiring both colleagues and students. Ensure compliance with school policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, and equal opportunities. Requirements The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a related subject. Have a proven track record of leadership in Business or IT, with demonstrable impact on student outcomes. Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students. Possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with the gravitas to lead and motivate a team.
