Contract type: Full-time, permanent
Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30pm including three Saturdays and Prep evening duties a term, as well as parents’ evenings and curriculum events
Salary: Dependent on experience
Start date: December 2026 or sooner
About the Role and You
The Head of Art will lead and develop the Art Department, inspiring students from Key Stage 2 through to Sixth Form to achieve their creative potential.
You will provide strong subject leadership while delivering engaging and ambitious teaching through to GCSE and A Level. You will encourage pupils to experiment, take creative risks and develop their own artistic identity across areas including Fine Art, Textiles and Graphic Design.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Leading and developing the Art Department and its curriculum.
Teaching Art from Key Stage 2 through to GCSE and A Level.
Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons.
