Head of Admissions

The Head of Admissions is responsible for the successful promotion of the school in order to drive the student recruitment and retention strategy. The roles acts as a key ambassador for the school, responsible for delivering an exceptional admissions experience that reflects the values, excellence, and personalised approach of a premium private international school. The Head of Admissions job is to meticulously guide prospective families from their first enquiry through to successful enrolment. The successful candidate will combine a strong commercial mindset with outstanding relationship-building skills, analytical thinking, and operational excellence to achieve enrolment targets while providing a first-class customer experience. The role currently has two direct reports within the wider Admissions and Administrative team, so the successful candidate must possess strong leadership abilities, be a team player and well organised. Key Responsibilities Lead and implement the school's admissions and enrolment strategy to achieve/excel student recruitment and retention targets. Deliver a personalised, premium admissions journey that creates a welcoming and memorable experience for every prospective family. Build trusted relationships with prospective parents, understanding their needs and confidently presenting the school's educational offering and community. Drive enquiry-to-enrolment conversion through a consultative, customer-focused sales approach while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Analyse admissions data, market trends, pipeline performance, and conversion metrics to inform strategy, forecast enrolment, and support leadership decision-making. Produce regular reports and KPIs for the Senior Leadership Team. Plan, organise, and deliver outstanding events such as Open Days, private tours, education fairs, information evenings, and community engagement events that showcase the school's unique strengths.
