Head of Admissions

We wish to appoint a Head of Admissions to deliver our admissions programme from all entry points. As a key member of our Operations Staff, the Head of Admissions will report to the Principal, and work closely with the Head of Marketing and Events Assistant. They will be supported by our Communications & Examinations Assistant. It is hoped that the successful candidate will be able to model those qualities and ensure our admissions process reflects our core values. The Head of Admissions is responsible for all admissions in both the Junior and Senior Schools and reports directly to the Principal. The Head of Admissions may delegate some of these responsibilities to the Junior School Secretary where they pertain to Junior School admissions, but must retain overall responsibility for all such matters. They should ensure the Principal is kept regularly updated on pupil numbers and registrations, and advise her of any significant matters. Admission of suitable pupils is fundamental to the future success of our School and all admission matters must be carried out with the utmost professionalism and efficiency. The Head of Admissions is very often a prospective parent’s first point of contact with our School and therefore must ensure that the first impressions reflect the warm, welcoming ethos we enjoy at Queen’s Gate. The role is full time and we wish to appoint from August 2026 or sooner if possible. The salary is £55,000-65,000 per annum, dependant on experience and qualifications.
